A broad coastal polder and migratory-bird landscape viewed from the public route towards Valgeranna.
Why stop here
Created in 1938 to reduce flooding, Audru’s polder now attracts migrating birds in spring and autumn. The 2.5 km roadside path between Audru and Valgeranna offers a practical way to appreciate the open landscape.
Plan your visit
Use the public path and roadside viewpoints, keeping out of fields and reed beds. Bring binoculars and observe birds from a distance; the map marks the polder landscape, not a visitor-centre entrance or a car park.
Make it part of your day
Combine a birdwatching pause with Valgeranna Beach. Choose a short out-and-back on the public path if you do not want to walk its full length.
