Why stop here
The 1.8 km Kaleste study trail starts at the camping area and explores the coastal habitats behind the beach. An old boat-landing place adds another point of interest to a short shore walk.
Plan your visit
From the Kõpu–Ristna road, follow the RMK campsite sign and the access road to the parking area. Use designated pitches and fire facilities, follow current fire restrictions and bring the supplies you need; RMK lists dry toilets and sheltered picnic facilities.
Make it part of your day
Make this a western Hiiumaa stop with Ristna Beach only if that separate outing fits your route. A beach walk and the study trail are enough for a shorter visit.
