Overview

Why visit Pärnu Beach House

Pärnu’s functionalist beach landmark, recognised by its ship-like outline and mushroom-shaped seaside balcony.

Why stop here

Completed in 1938 for the resort’s centenary, the Beach House brings the city’s resort architecture directly to the sand. Walk around the seaward side to see the projecting balcony and the beach pavilions.

Plan your visit

Treat this primarily as an exterior architecture stop on your promenade walk. Any cafés or events inside operate separately; do not rely on the building for year-round toilets, showers or an open interior.

Make it part of your day

Continue along Pärnu Beach and Promenade or turn into the beach park. It is an easy landmark to include without allocating a separate museum-style visit.
