Why stop here
The white octagonal tower stands among junipers and rocky shore. The walk offers a close view of the lighthouse exterior and a chance to explore this quieter stretch of the Matsi coast.
Plan your visit
Allow for an approximately one-kilometre foot approach from the road or parking area by the birdwatching tower. Wear shoes for uneven coastal ground and follow local access signs; the lighthouse cannot be reached by car.
Make it part of your day
Combine the lighthouse walk with a separate stop at Matsi Beach. Allow walking time at Sõmeri rather than treating the tower as a roadside viewpoint.
