Overview

Why visit Jaanson riverside route

A riverside walking and cycling route for seeing Pärnu beyond the beach, with access from different parts of the city.

Make it part of your day

For a simple first visit, start near Vee 2a, join the riverside path and walk out and back, turning when your group is ready. Our suggested allowance is 30–45 minutes for a short stroll, with extra time for sitting by the river. Central sections have seating, street art and cafés. Use the neighbourhood guide to plan a longer outing.

Plan your visit

The route is accessible from several city areas. Vee 2a is one starting reference, not an entrance for every section. Rääma’s swimming area and Niidu parkland belong to the wider right-bank route; follow local signs and the official route information for those approaches.
